Dear Lexi,
We have had a crazy week, Dad is out of town for the Army and our schedule had been chaotic as ever. We took your dog to get spayed and she is proudly rocking her cone of shame.
I am a firm believer in everything happening for a reason. However, when everything went crazy at the Hanger Clinic I was starting to feel discouraged. When we went to Quorum and they thought they could just order you extra depth shoes and have them in a week I thought it was too good to be true. Guess what? They work!!!!
My theme for the week has quickly become, “God ALWAYS provides everything you NEED.” I knew that was the case, but never in my life have I had daily examples of it in such huge ways.
No matter what life throws at you baby girl, always remember that everything you need in life will be provided. Not everything you want. Not always the second you ask for it or in the way you are hoping for, but God will never leave you or forsake you. Always know that are loved. Always remember that you are cherished. Life hasn’t always been easy, never has, never will be. You already have faced more challenges than most people twice your age but you always come out on top. Keep fighting.

Lexi got “Girls infant and child Velcro” shoes by Answer 2. Because of the lymphatic mass on her foot she in unable to fit in “normal” shoes. These have a ton of extra room and have inserts that make them fit on her other foot. As you can imagine this benefits her tremendously. Without shoes we get hassled going into businesses. Her feet get sore at playgrounds and I end up carrying her around doing normal things. With her shoes she gets to live a much more carefree and pain free life.
