Dear Lexi,
I could definitely get use to these upbeat letters to you! More goodness is going on in your life. We FINALLY got you some new shoes! After what seemed like forever the shoes are here. The boys have taken to calling them your Franken-shoes.
I think they’re quite adorable. I also love that the company that made them for you put hearts on the top knowing that they were for one special little girl. You did not want to wear them at first. I think that because they are a little big (you go back in two weeks for them to refit them) and that you are use to soft sole booties that they will take a little getting adjusted to. I think when you wear them now you feel like a big girl. You have this look and a way of carrying yourself as if you are so proud when you wear them. I am just happy that you get to walk wherever you want to now and that we don’t have to worry about the future so much now. I know that you can walk at the zoo and go to the park and someday even start school in shoes now! I love your resiliency and I hope that that is a quality that you keep. You are my fighter. You are so smart and stubborn and beautiful. But very best of all, YOU are MINE. I love you so much baby. Don’t you ever forget it.
To the moon and back. Infinity times infinity,
Mom
XOXO
P.S. One more pic of you just being adorable

I so enjoy hearing and seeing what is going on in Lexi’s life. She is getting to be quite a your lady and she can be different from her sis in her very own special shoes. Thank you so much for keeping us posted on the lives of your children. Brad was not much older that Lexi when I first met him at church.
