Dear Lexi,
Just a little update.
Last week we went to endocrinology at Denver Children’s. Dr. Green is incredible. She is always on time (a huge feat for a doctor). She is so patient and always explains everything in great detail too. This appointment she was amazing and made the decision to wait for your labs to be done in December. There are a few reasons for this. One, because as soon as you saw the hospital you started crying and begging to not get pokies. In December you will need oncology labs anyway. This way you only get one pokie. Also, if we wait until December she will be able to get a more clear picture of what is going on since you just had labs in June and aren’t exhibiting more issues. The only thing that seems off right now is your growth majorly slowed from the arc it was on. She didn’t seem too concerned because it could have been from standing to be measures or the fact that your hormones were causing massive growth spurts before. It’s just something that we will want to keep an eye on and be aware of.
Your next big appointment shouldn’t be until December. So we will have a nice little break from visits.
In other news, you had your first cheer performance. Can I just say, YOU MELT MY HEART. I honestly did not expect you to be such a little ham. You got on stage and just lit up the place. You are such an incredible little performer. Even when you didn’t know what to do you had a smile on your face and pretended to know what was going on. I just love you so stinking much. I love watching you grow into this awesome little person.
I love you Weckles. To the moon and back, infinity times infinity. You’re my little superstar.
Xoxo
Mom
